To provide contemporary epidemiologic data on the prevalence of SDB in France and its association with atherothrombosis.
Epidemiological studies both in general population and in MI patients with, in the latter, improved access to SDB-diagnostic procedures (on site polygraphies and centralised scoring via the Cloud) and SDB-follow-up.
Our long-term goal is to pave the way for an interventional randomized trial in a patients at high-risk of after myocardial infarction.
Given the limited awareness of healthcare professionals and the public regarding the links between SDB and atherothrombosis, iVASC also plans communication efforts (addressed in WP7)
